New Life, Together.
A new normal they call it, a new way of living marked with changes to our day to day life. All this human endeavor just makes me come back to thinking how easily we forget we are just biological creatures living in a biological world. Once again, coming to terms we are not above nature but with it, we are one with nature not separate. We are one with the Universe not apart.
How can we expect to venture out in the other planets and worlds if we are not ready to handle things like a simple, minute virus. Though these have been around for ages, and even into our own generation, we still have much to learn and much to be prepared for. It is my belief the current pathogen gripping nations has been modified in a lab, one that has been tampered with. This is significant because it just makes me think of the power of human capability, IVF procedures, DNA discoveries, the whole venture into biology and modern knowledge.
When our ancestors discovered fire they must have also known its power to destroy sooner or later, so we too must come together and know the dangers of what lies in the unknown, that which is within our discoveries and new sciences. May the Universe show us the way forward, the lesson is clearly being made manifest, and we must unite, we are not apart, clearly what may happen to one of us may happen to all of us.
We are connected, humanity needs to evolve, we need to take steps toward human unity as a planet, that is difficult but not impossible. It is perhaps an evolutionary step we are coming to terms with now, with this pathogen and other things like global warming, the internet, social media, we are become more aware of each other and the great big circle is becoming increasingly smaller, the international space station is a witness to this new world view.
This vision is one of my life prayers, as what I can conclude from my current time perception. Unity, union as planet, knowing that what befalls one person can befall every person in world. May the Universe help us achieve this step in evolution.
Leadership in times of crisis.
My thoughts have turned to the president of the United States, the nation I once called home, the nation I love so much, the place I pledged allegiance to. The thoughts on how today’s leaders are basically asleep at the wheel, while someone else is driving. This has been one of the causes of the global disaster, the alarm was sounded back in November.
Chinese news were already manifesting what could be a serious issue. Where int he world was the intelligence forces of the world? Why did they not respond? Surely surveillance would have also sounded an alarm, but it did not and global travel did not stop, borders where not closed, planes kept going to and fro. That and the time of travel for most Chinese as the New Lunar year approached, from all the world, Chinese traveled in and out China taking the pathogen with them. The europeans love of travel in Asia did not stop.
When I think of past leaders and past emergencies like the HIV emergence, I think how their character brought on immense support to the whole situation. A true leader moves and takes actions, a leader calls to act and takes actions. In my opinion a current president would have to be working non stop at this time, travelling and engaging with other world leaders on how to stop this thing. Traveling to France and Germany, to India, where treatments, trials and medicine is being made, a leader who truly cares about humanity, about people, his people and also the world as the US is seen as a big brother to many. In hard times, I think teamwork is needed, if only our leaders came together and sought of a strong solution to this thing.
I have not once heard the word United Nations anywhere in the news or online, where is the unity. A leader would be using a Jet and seeking answers abroad, talking to people, using all the resources in the world to save people. there is so much technology now a days, thousands of apps, why cant apps be made to help with this pandemic, to track, and aid people. Surely lots of lessons will be learned, and our children and their children will surely judge the current situation better. It seems the age or true leadership is in slumber at the time, when even the leaders themselves become sick. Good leaders do not sit, dine and wait while their people die, leaders go out, seek help, protection and take action. There is too much complacency, too much vanity, in one word, slumber, all this translates into poor results as humanity. The ignoring of science is another strong case right now, but that is not the point of this article. We need to sober up and get back on track as a human community in this planet, wake up from slumber, for the sake of our children and their children.
Back to the point, what this pandemic has taught me is we should not depend on our leaders for living, if you see a storm coming, do not wait for your leader to tell you to seek shelter, seek shelter yourself, look at the signs, trust science and protect yourself and your family. If lightning strikes a storm is coming, do not wait for your mayor or governor to tell you to seek shelter.
The present pandemic.
I just read an article on a science website, this thing is like a bioweapon, literally. The way it infects, its capability, its durability, its destructive power, the many opinions out there. That Slovak female scientist interviewed stated this thing seems engineered, tampered with, its code and structure restructured yet still remains intact, that can only take place in a lab not in nature. Dear Lord, signs and signals are there is you look into them, just look at the lab outbreak in 2014, it has happened before in China, the female worker infected her mother at home and many more. There are many jokes and stereotypes of Asians not being safe while driving in the west, somehow where there is smoke there is fire, and sometimes they just drop the ball, not being racist at all. Its just historical social issues behind it, the very Chinese government stopped the french from finishing the bio lab in Wuhan, that may have cost safety, in the name of pride, nationalism, secrecy, private interests? If I may add, Asia has been constantly spreading viruses throughout the world over and over, this one will go down in the books as one of the world’s deadliest. The rise of bio-genetics has led us this path, I truly think it is an engineered coronavirus, one that has been modified to perfectly infect humans, and it leaked out. This should bring about questions on humanity and bioengineering, just as we should have thought about nuclear power use after chernobyl. Things that are supposed to help us are actually destroying us, modern vehicles help us but they also destroy our planet through emissions, we need to reflect on ourselves seriously.
Thoughts on some people.
I have been into fashion since a young person, I thought about the beauty, glamour and fun of it all, but now as an adult I think things are not was what they seemed. The many aspects of the reality of the cosmetical world leave much to be desired for what is consider normal human beings.
People filled with vanity, greed, enlarged egos and more. People I have seen online, who promote a luxurious lifestyle that is beyond the grasp of many individuals. The concept of beauty being a racist one, being white and european, being white caucasian, the racist propaganda of what it is to be beautiful and glamorous, but then again, white people do rule the many parts of existence so why not the top of the human ego.
Hell, the nazis even wore Hugo Boss themselves, yes even the nazis dressed quite sharply, well suited and tailored with elegance and power in their attire.
Today I stumbled on a fashion person who goes by the name of Leia Sfez, I liked most of her posts online, her sense of style is somewhat similar to my own, but I also found her persona rather cold, selfish and sterile, she has hundreds of follower that perhaps do not see that. I always ask myself how angry, cold role models of women can still thrive in today’s world, the idea and concept of anger being the norm for fashion, being rude, cold and inconsiderate, and its not only her I sense, but the the many lot in the industry, photographers, designers, people in the top places, it is all a vain circus of vanity and explotation and egocentric play.
The person I am speaking of Leia Sfez, she seems to like every person with connections, white people and has a post mocking a black women’s hair on her feed, calling the best hair which means according to her white european race is the worst hair. The wannabe Wynonna Ryder blogger sure like to promote herself online, but to me she is just a cold, self absorbed french woman that evokes the typical attitude of what makes everyone else, hate the french. That brings me back to the fact that beautiful people can be racist, and racism is a problem I know far too well, with the fashion industry so brainwashed with white beauty, and eurocentric genes, it is hard to understand how just a few months ago, years ago, black women just began gracing the covers of top magazines. Naomi Campbell is one , and rarely do we see or hear of other models who actually have stood out and made a name from themselves that are not white.
I think the whole scenario is just filled with classism and with that it just turn into a whole social concept, beauty is for the rich, elegance is for the wealthy and all this is for those who have the gold and silver to obtain it.
I met this photographer/model who also left me with a bitter impression, at first I thought of him as a closeted homosexual, then I thought of him as some old man trying live of his looks, when in truth he is past the age. I also knew he was quite successful, he has booking for modeling and photography, but at the core I did not think he was a nice person. The same characteristics of fame whoredom, greed, vanity and racism kept creeping out, in the end this person went off my sight. My experience with him was not pleasant, we did not work together, he was really rude and never apologised for his behavior, I would not recommend him. There are young talented models and photographers who need work and are humble about their intentions, young models that truly inspire fitness and young photographers with a new vision of beauty and multiculturalism, not closeted homosexual soft porn, and white centered wealth in their works.
